We (I speak for the general public in the UK of this opinion) are asking the government to reduce bureaucratic red tape with visa entry/applications for Ukrainian refugees who manage to reach our UK borders.
We have to ensure the safety and possible long-term security for the Ukrainian people fleeing this horrific war without further delay. 

It is not enough to supply arms, food, clothing, medicines and humanitarian aid without offering a safe refuge. It is sickening and heart-wrenching to see these incredibly courageous people going through an unprovoked living hell, and no donations or humanitarian aid can alleviate our sense of helplessness knowing there is further pain to come when those who have made it to our borders are facing further misery.

The Ukrainian people have been persecuted for many years now and have fought until the end for their freedom, as we did in WW2. Now we are seeing them being slaughtered by a ruthless regime that have been allowed to dominate and intimidate for way too long. It has to stop now.

The Ukrainians are hard-working and clearly extremely determined and resilient people who we have seen will sacrifice their lives (young and old) to stand up for what's right for the future of their children and generations to come, many without weapons. The bravery and stoicism of these people is utterly moving.

We must do the same and support all Ukrainian refugees to the end as best we can in the long-term should they need it.
This is a war on the West and on Europe and the Ukrainian people are being persecuted for their ‘march’ for the freedoms they strive for and that we have all enjoyed since WW2.
