Barrie rally for holistic change

 

Special guest and we are honored to have Yusuf and his beautiful family come and speak for his beloved Brother Soleiman.

I have asked a few different speakers to attend and speak about the reality of the services that are available in Barrie and area for youth and adult mental health as well as addictions.
I will confirm those speakers before the date.

We will all meet at the spirt catcher. We are looking at extra parking passes �
Non residents park in the underground parking on collier st beside TD bank or on Toronto st beside queens park. Parking is expensive at the waterfront.

Please remember social distancing and masks *** we will be looking for more masks sanitizer and Lysol wipes. Please remember to be safe!

We will bring water and snacks please pitch in if you can. From 11:30 1:30 we give time for people to speak and tell the reasons we need more

Justice for Jordan
We called to our community mental health care for help and got a Deception of safety ...over and over I see that we promote mental health but nothing helpful is really there and lack of diligence with medical professionals and Provincial jail .... took my sons life and the person who tossed Jordan in his Cell because he was acting strange... has not been charged.
Them not doing checks and following the guidelines has resulted in my sons death....

 

Mental health matters! Why do mother get turned away when they reach for help at RVH for her 14 year old son? Nothing they can do.... but posters and media will have you believe that mental health matters but only if your strong enough to fight for it but what about the vulnerable people?

why does it take criminal charges before youth services become available and support groups that are to help with these problems... 

wouldn’t it make sense to offer corrections before any offense ..  when a parent reaches out for help ..  

Why is Barrie’s homeless rate so high?

Why does the mental health crisis line take 6-9 months for a appointment and then .... here take this Med... ok take this Med .... no clinical studies are done... it’s all just guess work and opinion super coated with deception “that help will be there” ....
Where is the accountability?

I want to discuss person centered approaches and behavior management tactics. 

Why the opioid crisis needs to be a national emergency.

How do so many drugs get in Jail? Why do guards get away with smuggling and trafficking too?
Why do they have a job if they do nothing but aid in the destruction of any faith people have in a system that was built broken.

Why is it that only Guards get away with not doing their job and killing people with lack of diligence?.. why does mental health care providers and care providers have a right to judge if they do not understand? Why do we push help instead of standing by someone’s side to gain trust so the person feel valued enough to except help?

Justice for the lack of diligence of our provincial prisons and basic inmate human rights!

More then a dozen guards beating a man tied in restraints, pepper sprayed him twice and a spit bag over his head. Left for dead instead of getting the care he deserved in the hospital he was waiting to be transferred to. Justice for Soleiman
Still no Justice has been served?

Why do cops even get called for mental health crisis?
Then we wonder why 4 children have to grow up with out their dad?!? Justice for Ejaz

So many people keep loosing life family members devastated... year after year this continues

Let make this world what we are lead to believe it is and lead with love and compassion for all human beings!
