No decision/communication on 24 June, 2022 COMPLAINT against UCO Bank by RBI yet. Why?
The Issue
I (Vishal Ojha) had brought my complaint and on behalf of other people to Reserve Bank of India on 24 June, 2022 - COMPLAINT against UCO Bank.
The complaint was attended by Executive Director of RBI on same day (24 June, 2022).
UCO Bank was provided with a timeline for response latest by 29 June, 2022 by RBI [Department of Supervision].
I also produced evidences to RBI citing crystal clear non-compliance, contravention, violation, non-adherence by UCO Bank in directions, guidelines, policy, rules issued by RBI, KYC guidelines, AML guidelines, PML Act guidelines, Suspicious Transaction Report guidelines, Banking regulations, UCO Bank's own guidelines and policy.
- Reserve Bank of India [Department of Supervision] had already attended and took an action on 24 June, 2022
- Then, what's stopping Reserve Bank of India (DoS) from passing an order/decision?
[UCO Bank had done data breach, carried out unauthorized transaction in collaboration with third party, Record of transaction was in non-adherence of directions issued by RBI, misbehaved, threatened, locked on bringing complaint for over a month. Even UCO Bank Zonal Office and Head office did not took any steps provided any resolution for almost 8 (eight) months]
It's been 21 days (till 15 July, 2022) since my complaint was attended and yet RBI had neither resolved the complaint nor had provided any response or update.
- In past for similar complaints received from public, customer, and other sources RBI had took swift action and provided resolution punishing various Regulated Entities/Banks.
Then, why not RBI is passing an order/decision on my complaint. Why not punishing UCO Bank (I had provided 8 months to UCO Bank already). RBI needs to pass an order for UCO Bank to make good and pay for amount involved, loss, harm, damages, compensation, award, etc.
- RBI Governor, Deputy Governors, Executive Directors, Department of Supervision, Consumer Education and Protection Cell, Consumer Education and Protection Department and other department need to resolve the COMPLAINT against UCO Bank
RBI needs to punish UCO Bank for all the above mentioned contraventions [which RBI had been doing in past for various Regulated Entities/Banks] as Reserve Bank of India is responsible:
- To maintain public confidence in system
- Protect public & customer rights and interests
- Attend and resolve complaints received from public, customers
- Expedite grievance redressal mechanism
- Disposal of complaints in 15 DAYS by Department of Supervision received from PUBLIC & CUSTOMER
- RBI as the Central Bank of India who supervise all the Regulated Entities/Banks must hold accountable and liable to UCO Bank
If RBI still do not take action and do not punish UCO Bank, then, why not?
Why RBI is not responding, updating and providing any resolution?
Why RBI is encouraging such contraventions, non-compliance, violation by UCO Bank?
Why RBI is discriminating on my complaint? Why? Why?
I need everyone's help to make RBI take an immediate action/decision. If UCO Bank is not punished, we are already on the brink of damage beyond imagination.
- HELP ME! All I want is Reserve Bank of India to do what it had been doing for years for similar contraventions, non-compliance, violations, non-adherence by Regulated Entities and Banks
