Hello my name is Alissa malott. My little brother ANDRE EDWARDS JR was robbed of his life . Aj was playing in silver creek dam when he lost his footing and was swept under by the undertow of the silver creek dam . Unfortunately we lost our sweet baby boy on Monday . Aj was the sweetest and kindest soul you would’ve ever met . I’m starting this petition to get the low head dam in silver creek removed . It has been a problem for years and the people , dnr, and even ex councilmen want it gone . It has put many people in dangerous situations and has no claimed a life . We don’t want anyone else falling victim to new albany city’s actions . The mayor of new Albany would rather keep the dam to bring tourist and money in rather than protect the cities people please sign to give justice to aj
