Our voices are being heard - a vote of no confidence gained widespread support by council
Thank you to everyone who has signed and shared this petition. We have taken an important step forward.
On Monday 28th Sept, during public question time at an Evesham Town Council extraordinary meeting, I formally presented our petition to the Council, asking for the Mayor and the Clerk to consider placing this vote on the agenda for the 12th October full Council meeting. You can watch the entire speech using the links at the bottom of this update.
The agenda for the 12th October 2026, 6:30pm - Evesham Town Hall is yet to be formalised, but the response from members was overwhelming in favour of seeing the vote take place.
This is progress. The vote is still to come, but your support has helped bring our concerns before those who represent us.
At the time of presenting to Council, 658 signatures were present, and we continue to see that rise.
The full speech is available across social media, please click the links below to view:
Please take a moment to also share it alongside the petition.
We have between now and the 12th Oct to keep the momentum going - Please respectfully share the petition with friends, family and neighbours.
