Hello Fair Oaks Ranch Citizens,

We will be presenting the signed petition to the City Council at the next City Council Meeting on Aug 1 at 6:00 pm.  Please push this petition once more to your neighbors and concerned citizens.  I'm sure there would be more signatures if we could reassure the format (online petition) to folks that this is legitimate and they will not be pursued for any money or other support.  

The Fair Oaks Ranch City Council, Mayor, City Manager and staff need to know the citizens of Fair Oaks Ranch do not understand nor support why this large building is to be built and then maintained through our property taxes. The needs are questionable and the city cannot justify usage outside of city needs...which is what the MDD funding requires.  If the general public cannot use it, the MDD funds cannot be spent.  Yes, there are legitimate needs for voting space, city council chambers, and city committee meetings. That does not mean we need a 5300 sq feet to pay maintenance, insurance, and service costs with our property taxes for decades.  A smaller building should be sufficient.  Help us have a say so in how our taxes will be spent in the future.  The citizens of Fair Oaks Ranch were NEVER given an opportunity to vote on this HUGE project.
