Lebanese athletes are being forced to sit out international competitions — not due to lack of talent or dedication, but because of financial barriers they simply cannot overcome on their own.

This is more than an individual hardship. When our athletes cannot compete on the world stage, Lebanon loses visibility, representation, and the chance to inspire future generations. Every missed competition is a missed opportunity for our country to stand proud.

We call on the Lebanese government, sports federations, and private sponsors to establish a dedicated financial support program for athletes representing Lebanon internationally — covering travel, accommodation, registration fees, and training costs.

Lebanon deserves to be seen. Our athletes deserve to compete. It's time to make that possible.
