We, the undersigned, call upon the Board of Trustees to allow for the vacancy in Place 7 of the Board of Trustees to be filled through a fair and democratic election. We believe that every individual should have the opportunity to serve and represent our community, regardless of political affiliation. Appointing someone to fill this vacancy would undermine the will of the people and deny us our right to have a say in who represents us.

As a signature on this petition, we request that the newly vacated Place 7 be elected in the current election cycle, if possible. If this is not possible, we call for an immediate special election to be held as soon as possible. We also request that this seat remain vacant until it is filled via an election, where "We the People" vote for our candidate of choice.

We urge the Board of Trustees to honor our request, as now is the time, more than ever, to send a message that you are listening and will honor our request as a community coming together on this issue.
