NO A LA RETIRADA DE LOS IGLÚS (REFUGIOS) DE LA COLONIA FELINA EN PALMA DE MALLORCA MOIXOS DE CANAMUNT.
Y LA COLONIA FELINA ESTADIO BALEAR.
El pasado lunes 8 de enero de 2024 recibimos un aviso de la próxima retirada de los iglús ( contenedores de vidrio adaptados a refugios).
Así sin más.
Iglús que hemos conseguido en presupuestos participativos del año 2018.
Quedamos segundos en la votación, gracias a todos vosotros.
En el barrio quedan unos 10 gatos COMUNITARIOS que si les quitan los refugios quedarán a merced de las inclemencias del tiempo y además sin comida ni agua asegurada.
El número de gatos que van a quedar desprotegidos en Estadio Balear ronda los 20.
Colonia que cuenta con el apoyo y respaldo del Estadio Balear y las cinco empresas colindantes.
No entendemos a este nuevo equipo del ayuntamiento que en vez de evolucionar, retroceden.
No entendemos que se ha creado una ley de bienestar animal que protege a las colonias Felinas y en Palma de Mallorca se las deja indefensas.
Y el equipo del ayuntamiento va en contra de dicha ley.
Hemos sido todo un ejemplo para Baleares y la península.
Hemos luchado muchísimo para conseguir dignificar las colonias y a sus cuidadores.
Los iglús llevan en el barrio 7 años,sin ninguna queja y totalmente adaptados al entorno.
Por eso , desde la asociación Moixos de Canamunt,nos oponemos rotundamente a su retirada,sin antes reunirse con nosotros.
Nuestra propuesta era donar dos a otra colonia Felina que ellos decidan.
(Llevamos desde septiembre del 2023 pidiendo reunión por esto mismo con el regidor de bienestar animal Llorenç Bauza y no nos recibe)
Pero no retirar todos y dejar a nuestros gatos totalmente desprotegidos.
Por todo esto os necesitamos.
Vuestro apoyo, difusión y firmas son super importantes.
Hay que parar éste despropósito y esta involución del ayuntamiento de Palma de Mallorca.

NO TO THE REMOVAL OF THE CAT SHELTER (iglus) OF THE 2 FERAL COLONIES IN PALMA DE MALLORCA MOIXOS DE CANAMUNT
AND THE FELINA BALEAR STADIUM.
Last Monday, January 8th 2024, we received a notice of the upcoming removal of the at shelters (glass containers adapted to shelters).
Just like that!
Shelters that we have achieved thanks to articipative budgets for the year 2018.
We came second in the voting, thanks to all of you.
There are about 10 feral cats left in Canamunt neighborhood that, if their shelters are removed, will be at the mercy of the weather and without a place to shelter themselves and find the food, water and blankets we leave daily for them.
The number of cats that will be left unprotected at Estadio Balear is around 20, even if the feral colony has the support and backing of the Balear Stadium and the five neighboring companies.
We do not understand the new townhall government, that instead progressing, they ove backwards.
We do not understand that an animal welfare law has been created that protects feline colonies and in Palma de Mallorca it that does not apply, and the local government is going beyond the law.
We have been an example for the Balearic Islands and the peninsula.
We have fought a lot to dignify the colonies and their caretakers.
The sheltes have been in the neighborhood for 7 years, without any complaints and fully adapted to the environment.
For this reason, from the Moixos de Canamunt association, we strongly oppose their withdrawal, moreover without first meeting with us and discussing the reasons.
Our proposal was to donate two to another feral cat colony of their choosing.
(We have been asking for a meeting with the animal welfare hancellor, Llorenç Bauza,since September 2023 and he does not receive us).
t is unacceptable to remove all of he shelters and leave our cats completely unprotected.
Please help us fight to protect these cats that already have such a tough life, not by their choosing.

Sagen Sie nein zur Entfernung der Katzenunterkünfte in Canamut und der Umgebung des Fussbalstadiums Balear!
Am Montag dem 8. Januar 2024 wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass die seit sieben Jahren in der Nachbarschaft stehenden Katzenunterkünfte entfernt werden müssen.
Die Katzenunterkünfte (umfunktionierte Müllcontainer) wurden uns 2018 zur Verfügung gestellt nachdem unser Vorschlag zur Verwendung des Bürgerhaushaltes auf den zweiten Platz gewählt wurde.
In der Nachbarschaft Canamut gibt es 10 betreute Straßenkatzen und im Gebiet des Fussbalstadions 20. Die Katzen sind auf die Katzenunterkünfte angewiesen um sich vor der Witterung zu schützen und Betreung zu erhalten.
Es hat sehr viel Mühe und Arbeit gekostet das Projekt zu etablieren aber wir sind stolz darauf, dass das Fussballstadium sowie angrenzende Unternehmen und Nachbarn das Projekt unterstützen und darauf, dass es in den sieben Jahren zu keiner einzigen Beschwerde kam.
Aus diesem Grund ist es für uns nicht nachvollziehbar, dass die neue Regierung nicht im Einklang mit dem bestehenden Tierschutzgesetz handelt und die Katzenunterkünfte bestehen lässt obwohl dieses Projekt als positives Beispiel gilt.
Der Verein Moixos de Canamut lehnt somit die Entfernung der Katzenunterkünfte vehement ab bis die Angelegenheit nicht zumindest bei einem offiziellen Treffen besprochen werden konnte.
Wir wären dazu bereit zwei der Katzenunterkünfte einer anderen Kolonie zur Verfügung zu stellen jedoch nicht dazu unsere Katzen komplett schutzlos zurückzulassen.
Wir versuchen bereits seit September 2023 genau dies mit dem zuständigen Gemeinderatsmitglied Llorenç Bauzá zu besprechen doch leider war dieser bislang nicht zum Gespräch bereit.
Deswegen brauchen wir eure Unterstützung!
