Stop LEMCOR from trashing our community

The Issue

The Ironbound neighborhood in Newark, NJ is overburdened with waste-related facilities that process millions of tons of trash for the states of New Jersey and New York every year. This brings thousands of diesel trucks to our community daily.

Now, the community has to try to fend off a new large waste transfer facility, which was proposed in 2006! The combined impacts from this site alone will result in significant environmental and public health issues for our community.

You can get involved in several ways!
