Finish Lackawanna Cutoff for NJ Transit Service from Mt. Arlington to Scranton
The Issue
Public transportation is a major issue in Northwest New Jersey. The Lackawanna Cutoff is a 28.45 mile long stretch that is a gap between the rail line from Mt. Arlington, NJ to Scranton, PA. It could provide train service in between these areas including Andover, Blairstown, and Stroudsburg; to name a few. This is a great idea but we need the track installed. There has been little progress with this as they keep delaying the progress of construction. Show your support to get train service up and running in these areas.
