While India has a booming private medical sector, the public healthcare system operates at a dismal ratio of 0.08 doctors for 1000 people.Many BDS graduates are those who didn’t get the chance to peruse MBBS degree due to either low score of marks , financial problems or family background . With the start of BDS to MBBS bridge course , a lot of dreams will come true . The initial draft has already been approved by NITI ayog and DCI but it is not been implemented in the country. This petition is an attempt to reach out our voice to the government to start this bridge course as soon as possible as a lot of students are waiting for this golden opportunity. With the signing of this draft , we can reach out to them and pressurise them to start the course within a short span . This will be a revolutionary change in the medical system.
