NISSAN CVT TRANSMISSION IS A DEATH TRAP

NISSAN CVT TRANSMISSION IS A DEATH TRAP
The Issue
Nissan is refusing to recall cars that contain their faulty CVT TRANSMISSION. While traveling out of town my Nissan Sentra starting slowing down going over the Louisiana bridge. I had my 3 children in the backseat and the car would not accelerate. There was a huge semi behind me who started blowing their horn when they realized my car was dropping speed significantly. I barely made it into the next lane without getting hit and then had to use the speed from going down the other side of the bridge to make it off the highway. I towed my Sentra to Nissan where I was told the transmission went out and that it would cost almost 4,000 to fix. My car is a 2014 Sentra with only 66,000 miles on it and got regular maintenance at Nissan there should be no transmission problems on a fairly new car that was bought brand new. This has to stop, Nissan is fully aware that their CVT transmissions do not work. If you Google CVT Transmission Nissan you will see so many complaints and horror stories. Me and my children were lucky enough to make it safey over that bridge but how much longer before one of these transmissions go out at the wrong time and cause a death. Nissan must be held accountable.
