The paint started peeling off of my car. For no reason it started coming off in sections like nail polish peeling off your finger nail. I asked Nissan to look into the problem with my car. They took a picture of it and said no. I went to the BBB and they contacted Nissan. Soon afterward Nissan Corp. Office contacted me.I took my car into a paint expert to have the paint thickness measured and sent the results to Nissan. The expert told me the paint was too thin. It was defective. Nissan had me take my car to a body shop of their choosing and would not give me the results of the test. After waiting over a week they call me and said no. They claimed my car was too old. I have a 2003 Murano. I love my car. Paid $36000.00 and I have taken great care of it. I have never had a car that the paint just peeled off of. I take care of my car, it was garaged most of the time. All I wanted was for Nissan to have my roof and bumper painted. I didn't want any money just the repair. My car is ruined.... I cannot sell it I cannot afford to pay for a paint job.
