It has been more than a month since the smash-hit game 'Pokémon GO’ is out, and during this time we have witnessed numerous incidents caused by some players trying to catch coveted Pokémon.

That’s why today we are asking the President of Nintendo for regulation in the use of the game, in those public spaces that, in an humanitarian, social, health, religious, security, strategic or artistic way, are special.

Our goal is also to make clear that there are institutions, companies, organizations and places that expressly requested to be removed from these ‘scavenger hunts’.

Son lugares como el Taj Mahal, las cataratas de Iguazú o Petra, pero también son “sagrados” aquellos lugares útiles para la humanidad en aspectos como el sanitario, el educativo o el de la seguridad. Hay espacios en el mundo que sirven para protegernos, para hacernos mejores y creemos que es mejor que estos espacios sigan siendo nuestros emblemas.

We want to protect those spaces we consider ‘sacred’. Places like Taj Mahal, the Iguazu Falls or Petra, but ‘sacred’ are also those places that are useful for humanity in areas such as health, education or security. There are places in the world that serve to protect us, to make us better people, and we think it is best that these spaces remain our emblems.

Sign this petition to protect our world from a fad that can change a consensus of common sense that took us generations to achieve. Whether we like it or not, we are the heirs of that agreement. And what we do now with it will be what we deserve tomorrow >>
