It is no surprise that nintendo fans and gamers all over the globe are shocked at the prices of the Nintendo Switch 2 for mediocre gen console hardware, but I'm mostly here to talk about the games. 90 USD for physical Mario Kart is absolutely ridiculous. However, it's the implications that make things more scary. People will want to buy this console, heck, I want to get my hand on this console, and if it sells well nintendo will make bank and nothing will change. Prices might even go up like with the switch with Tears of the Kingdom. What makes this more minboggling is that there were talks of GTA6 being 100 dollars per copy, which everybody is anticipating GTA6 rn. It worries me and the future of gaming as a whole that if other game companies see this tactic, they're going to raise their prices also, so what do we do? We boycott the switch 2. If it has poor sales and for the soul reason of pricing, Nintendo might just be pushed over into lowering the prices of games and console to a more reasonable 350-400 and 60-70. Somebody has to start this, thank you for your time.
