Raymond from Animal Crossing New Horizons has turned what should be a fun and relaxing game for all ages into a competition for wealth, social status, and power. People are selling Raymond to other peoples' islands in exchange for in-game resources and real-world currency, which goes against the game's intentions of having players doing hard, honest work for bells and resources. These people are also using Raymond to increase their popularity on social media accounts, showing kids that play the game that the only way to succeed in life is to exploit others.

 Raymond has ruined the lives of many good people. I'm currently having to sign divorce papers because my wife took everything I had, including my kids, to live with her boyfriend who had Raymond on his island in New Horizons. I was seriously considering shelling out almost $200 to a seller online to get Raymond on my island because I couldn't handle the thought of losing my kids, but I decided not to give in, because I didn't want to teach my kids that the only way to succeed in life is to go against your morals and increase your social status by taking advantage of others.

 That's why I am asking everyone who sees this to sign this petition. I know that I am not the only one who has been hurt by this Raymond craze. This has to stop, for the future of Animal Crossing, for the future of Nintendo, for the future of our kids, for the future of everyone.
