Release a Metroid 2D Collection for Nintendo Switch :D
The Issue
Hello, Nintendo. With the release of Metroid Dread and its 107+ million units sold (with 3 million additional sales, making it the best selling Metroid game by far), this brings out an absolutely wonderful opportunity to create something that all Metroid Fans Want= A Compilation of all the 2D Metroid Games so far. The Games Included should be: Metroid, Metroid 2: Return of Samus, Super Metroid, Metroid Fusion, and Metroid: Zero Mission, with Metroid Prime Hunters and Samus Returns as DLC or separate additional games (Along with the Metroid Prime Trilogy and, perhaps, Other M as well). What it should also include, amongst other things, should be:
1. an Art Gallery mode where you can look at Different pieces of Concept Art and Fanart, with More Artwork being unlocked via Speed times and/or Amiibo.
2. a Music mode where you can listen to the many wonderful songs from each of the games, including fan remixes.
3. (Optional) a Multiplayer mode where others online will compete to see who can complete a single Metroid game or all of them the fastest. Certain awards can include More Music, More Artwork, and even MyNintendo Points.
and 4. Posters for MyNintendo (With each being 50-100 points), being= 3 Variations of Metroid, 2 Variations of Metroid 2, 4-5 Variations of Super Metroid, 5 Variations of Metroid Fusion and 6 whole Variations of Metroid: Zero Mission, with New Variations of Samus Returns and Hunters if Possible.
For each game, there will be different options to enhance the experience such as:
1. Assigning different buttons,
2. Screen Filters such as CRT mode (With adjustable blurriness and pixel colors), HQ mode (With 2x, 4x and even 10x), and Frame Echoing,
and 3. Sound modes: Classic, CRT buzzing (Adjustable buzz noise) and Reverb (With an Adjustable room size and depth slide bar).
You should also make an Online Survey with the following Questions:
1. Which Metroid Game would you like us to Remake? (Multiple Choice): A. Super Metroid, B. Metroid Prime Hunters, C. Metroid: Other M or D. Samus Returns (as an enhanced/remastered port),
2. Which Metroid Game is your most Favorite? (Single-Choice): A. Metroid, B. Metroid 2: The Return of Samus, C. Super Metroid, D. Metroid Fusion, E. Metroid Prime, F. Metroid: Zero Mission, G. Metroid Prime 2: Echoes, H. Metroid Prime: Hunters, I. Metroid Prime Pinball, J. Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, K. Metroid: Other M, L. Metroid Prime: Federation Force, M. Metroid: Samus Returns, N. Metroid: Dread & O. Metroid Prime 4: Beyond,
3. If there was another Metroid title in the franchise, what would you name it as?:
A. Metroid: Fury, B. Metroid: Target Unknown, C. Metroid: Delta, D. Metroid: Future, E. Metroid: Nexus, F. Metroid: Renegade, G. Metroid: Supernova, H. Metroid: Breach, I. Metroid: Solstice, J. Metroid: Orphan, K. Metroid: Chozo Connection or L. Metroid: Infinity.
and 4. How should the Next Metroid title look?:
A. 2D, B. 2.5D, C. 3D or D. First-Person 3D
If you're unable to do this, then you should at least give us Game & Watch: Metroid with Metroid and Metroid 2 along with either Octopus or Turtle Bridge as Extra Games. A Time screen based on Brinstar, should be present as well, and secret Videos of the Japanese commercials for Metroid and Metroid 2 should be present.
If anything, A Whole Board Game based on the first Metroid game should be made, with its Pen-and Paper or Electronic Tracking system, fast-paced movement, Item system based on Dungeons and Dragons, its simple fighting based on HeroQuest and its gradual map-building system based on Carcassonne or Descent: 2E. Its Artwork will be directly based on the NES Sprites and Artwork while the modes are Single Player, Multiplayer Vs, Multiplayer Teamwork or All players controlling one Samus (Based on Milton Bradley's Legend of Zelda board game idea of all players controlling Link). The best Licenses to bring this Board Game Idea to life are: Parker Brothers, Fantasy Flight Games, Hasbro, Bandai, Asmodee or Mayfair Games.
Whatever you choose, these ideas will be Perfect for celebrating the upcoming anniversary of Metroid and will be the foundation for further interest in future Metroid Games.
