It's important to both Nintendo and the fans of the Zelda franchise that a live action series is not produced. Trying to recreate the magic of Hyrule and it's beloved characters isn't possible using a live action cast.

Creating a TV series will have a low budget and the set pieces, costumes and required CGI would suffer as a result.

At worst if such characters like Link where to be the main characters of the show, the majority of the audience would be put off by him being a mute, which is why I fear Netfilx would give Link a speaking role, one which most Zelda fans hope will never happen.

One day, Nintendo will get it right and create a new Zelda TV show or Movie but live action is by far the most incorrect way to go about it. We need to show Nintendo how much we care about this franchise and it's our duty to tell them when we fear they may make a mistake.

I'm scared such a deal with Netflix or any other studio at the minute may dilute what we love about the series and take a way the magic that draws us in with such incredible design, time and care put into creating the games. I know many fans share this concern and this petition is a way for us to show Nintendo that a live action series is a mistake and should reconsider.
