Quest 64 is an old N64 rpg that has become a somewhat cult classic over the years, gathering more support over and over again. It's also known that the flaws are actually starting to be treated as endearing and unique.

Many have been hoping to have a lot of fixes. That can including make the inventory less of a chore to scroll through, party members, more magic, more story, and more unique characters. Actual weapons and armor is wanted by some. Another is simply adding your basic stuff, like user interface changes, the ability to read signs, critical hits, a monetary system, and other visual stuff that makes the game look and feel more smooth.

Besides that, a revival of a franchise can lead to more support for the game series appearing in other crossovers, including Super Smash Bros.

This is of course just a game series some want revived for fun.
