Dear Nintendo and Game Freak, while the Pokemon Anime is well-animated and the battle scenes are great, it - And I mean this with the greatest respect possible - has a horrible plot that boils down to "Pokemon does a thing that needs to be fixed, so Ash and friends spend the entire episode doing that" almost every time.

We understand that you are catering to your target audience, but you need to realize that most of your fans are much older, within the age range of 12-16, and that we want something a bit more serious, engaging and plot-driven. We are fine with the Anime continuing to be made, and Pokemon Origins was a step in the right direction, but you have the perfect Anime candidate sitting right in front of you: Pokemon Adventures (Or Pokemon Special in Japanese).

Pokemon Adventures has amazing, well-developed characters, an intricate over-arcing story, beautiful art and has the perfect balance of humorous moments and more serious tones. The comic is very popular, and I, for one, would watch every episode and buy every season, as would many more, I'm sure. Thank you for taking the time to read this petition.
