Tis implied that a Nintendo would have a new Presentation of some sorts before E3 this year. It wouldn’t hurt I’m sure for details on games like the new Animal Crossing game and Luigi’s Mansion 3 to be announced before E3, not to mention some first time reveals before E3 (would even be nice to know which DLC Fighter will arriving for Ultimate next after a Joker before E3 too might I add). I can guess though that new details on Pokémon Sword & Shield conforming more details about the game before E3 could happen, even if it’s outside a Direct, that has happened before with Previous Core Pokemon Games as well as Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu & Eevee (even confirming their release dates).
