Will have this message posted within the next fortnight from now, of which I certainly do wish luck with getting to Konno eventually. I typed up 2 versions of what I had to say in the letter, what I'm showing here is the version that's in English:
"
Dear Hideki Konno
It's me again, one of Nintendo's fans, hopefully will be a critic someday. I was wondering if you received any letters I sent you last year about the 9th Official Mario Kart game for the Nintendo Switch. There's been no announcements throughout 2018 in regards to the meaning of existence of these Switch ports of Wii U games, nor have we been assured that the Switch port of Mario Kart 8 was not chosen to be made instead of a new Mario Kart game for the system, along with assuring that the fact that Mario Kart 8 is the franchise's Wii U game. I guess it wasn't a good time to talk about it, hopefully sometime in 2019 will be in some form, even if it's announcing that a new official Mario Kart game with 16 or 20 NEW Mario Kart Tracks is merely in development for the system months before the first gameplay is shown off, don't forget that I'm positive that it is your goal that there's a new Mario Kart game for every system, it's even one of these franchises that've always had a new game on each and every Nintendo System, of which should indeed always remain that way: https://images-wixmp-ed30a86b8c4ca887773594c2.wixmp.com/intermediary/f/1e4b0f27-012d-4ebd-83d0-0d41cadd6581/dcudwlo-ba14cd7b-2348-4b50-b256-d3c4cd4b1ccb.png
This NEW Mario Kart for the Switch would also be something that has aspects from Super Mario Odyssey, much like how Mario Kart: Double Dash (the Gamecube's Mario Kart game) was a Mario Kart game with aspects from Super Mario Sunshine, and a game with unlockable content, nothing was unlockable in the Mario Kart 8 port, generally stuff like Mirror Mode, certain characters, certain vehicles and each of the cups aside from the Mushroom and Shell Cup are what you'd consider leaving unlockable in each game. Let's not forget this being a game with new features to amaze us as usual, along with hopefully a good amount of familiar Mario Characters, and most important that it's a MARIO GAME, with the Non-Mario Characters being something to offer in the game's DLC Lineup. Just to refresh your memory, here are the message I sent to you in the past of which should be able to refresh your memory with what I already talked to you of in previous letters I sent you:
"
Dear Hideki Konno
I am one of your English Fans from Australia. There’s something I’ve been willing to ask you about the Mario Kart Franchise. As you know, there’s been one new Mario Kart game for each and every Nintendo System, and I’m sure your goal has been to release one new game for each, but what’s unknown is if these consistent gaps for each game (whether or not they be a port or they be an official game) are intended or not, or if they’re coincidental. What everyone’s been wondering is that even though you released a port of Mario Kart 8 from the Wii U to the Switch, should we eventually expect a New Official Game for it with 16 New Nitro and Retro Tracks eventually. As I was saying, I am sure that your goal had been to release a New Mario Kart game (the most popular of all Mario Spinoffs) on each and every Nintendo System. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is merely just a port of Mario Kart 8 for the Wii U of which had come to be for similar reasons as to other Wii U games that received Switch Ports, of which (though not confirmed for certain right now) does not apply to that tradition of doing only one game per system due to it being a port. Nintendo after all does only have one system to be focussing on for the next 4 or 5 or 6 years, since the Nintendo Switch is a Console-Handheld hybrid.
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe as you know removed the Mario Kart TV feature of which we loved in the Wii U game, it has no new tracks, and nothing (not even the characters) need unlocking. Plus it looks more like a Nintendo All-Stars Racing game with the Non-Mario Characters. Sure it was nice of you to put in Bowser Jr., King Boo and Dry Bones, but it continues to lack some familiar Mario Characters we loved racing with in the past such as Diddy Kong. And it was nice of you to bring back the Battle Arenas for Battle Mode, why in the Wii U game were they on Race Tracks anyway? A few things Mario Kart 8 received criticism for is the lack of Battle Arenas in Battle Mode along with the lack of a good amount of Familiar Mario Characters. Overall I think you left out one character in Mario Kart 8, forgoing the fact of having an Even Total of Racers and not giving the Miis their Own Slot like in other games. Even though Bowser Jr. was starting to get more recognition in recent years with his Own Koopa Clown Car, his inclusion in Mario Party Games, his inclusion in Mario RPGs, and even him becoming a fighter in Super Smash Bros., it seemed unusual to us for him not to’ve been included in Mario Kart 8 along with the Koopalings.
There are some other things I would like to ask you about the Franchise. How do you decide upon the characters in each game? One thing everyone’s been wondering is how did you come up with Metal Mario and Pink Gold Peach, and should we ever expect Familiar Mario Characters like Nabbit to ever be included in the Franchise eventually? Another thing that’s worth asking is how do you decide upon the Retro Tracks for each Mario Kart game starting with Mario Kart DS? I mean in Mario Kart 7, all the N64 Tracks were from the same cup (Mushroom Cup), and DS Waluigi Pinball was featured even though Waluigi wasn’t in the game. Of course game after game you continue to amaze us, such as how much detail you put into them in Mario Kart 8, of which I’m sure you’d also do so with Future Installments. Not sure if you hear our word of what we’d love to see as Retro Tracks, but a lot of fans have been dying to see particular ones yet to return like Mushroom City and Toad’s Factory. Another about that I’d like to ask is if you ever use up all the tracks from a Previous Mario Kart, what would you do about it?
Here’s something else we’re wondering. Do you ever plan on eventually bringing back Mission Mode and Double Dash Mode and Items that are Unique to Each Racer to the Franchise, something only used in their debut games.
Anyway, keep up the good work with the franchise and continue to amaze us in each instalment. Hopefully you can give more details about stuff like I stated to you here. And hopefully sometime you can confirm if the Switch will eventually have a New Mario Kart game with 16 New Nitro and Retro Tracks, along with some aspects seen in Super Mario Odyssey. In my opinion, I hope you do eventually release a New Mario Kart game for the System, and that poets like Mario Kart 8 Deluxe do not apply to your routine. Heck, a future system might have both an Official Mario Kart game and a Mario Kart have that could be a Compilation of the Top 100 Tracks. As said before, the Mario Kart Franchise has been the most popular of all Mario Spinoffs, and we’re pretty glad to’ve seen a New Game of it and each and every Nintendo System, myself include, hope you can continue to amaze us with future instalments of the Franchise in the years to come. One last thing, one year I hope I can be a Game Critic myself, of which I’m currently not at the moment, that way I could get more closer to these games and get to know them better.

Dear Hideki Konno
It's me again, a Nintendo fan from Australia that sent you a letter earlier that I hope you received and appreciated. Just wanted to let you know that I sent a letter to the Convention Centre in Los Angeles for you, Reggie Fils-Aime, Bill Trinen, Kit Ellis, Krysta Yang and Mr. Kimishima to see when you go over there for E3 this June, about this year's E3 Presentation, of which you should announce the Next Official Mario Kart game for the Switch being in Development, if the timing is right to do so, but might I say that it would really make our day for us Mario Kart fans the sooner you do assure to us that the Switch will eventually have an Official Mario Kart game with 16 or 20 new Nitro and Retro Tracks and that the Switch Port of Mario Kart 8 only exists for the same reason as other Switch Ports of Wii U games, thus not at all discouraging an eventual new game for the system, thankfully that already is proven with some of the other ports. In regards to that, thought I'd give you an early scoop on this letter that I sent for you yourself to see before the rest do:
"
Hi Nintendo of America and Nintendo in General
Mainly I’m directing this message to Reggie, Bill, Kit, Krysta, Mr. Kimishima and Mr. Konno. I'm one of your fans. I’m not exactly a Game Critic myself, but I someday hope to be, not to mention the fact that I hope to attend E3 myself some year. Basically I directed this letter to the Los Angeles Convention Centre for you to receive when you go there for E3 this year, and hope that you’ll have read it before you shoot your E3 Presentation in how ever you’ll do it this year, which I yet again don’t think will be a Press Conference, of which I’ll have probably figured by the tone you receive this message.
Thought I’d talk with you about your E3 Presentation for a bit, somewhere in it, please do simply announce the fact that a New Mario Kart game is in development for the Nintendo Switch, like you did with Metroid Prime 4 last year, that is if the time is right. Sooner you do announce the Next Official Mario Kart game with 16 NEW Nitro and Retro Tracks, sooner we can be assured that the Switch Port of Mario Kart 8 does not apply to your tradition with the Mario Kart Franchise of being one new game per system due to being a port of a Previous game with the same 32 Tracks and not a newgame, and that it’s meaning of Existence is the Same as the Other Switch Ports of Wii U games. Mario Kart has been the Most Popular of all Mario Spinoffs, and we’ve been lucky to see a new game of it on each and every Nintendo System, with new features that continue to amaze us. I’m sure that Mr. Konno’s goal has been to release a NEW Mario Kart game on each and every Nintendo System anyway, but it’s unknown right now if these consistent gaps between the release of game game are merely a coincidence or intentional. Speaking of, at last year I sent letters out to 4 Game Developers at the Nintendo Headquarters in Kyoto, Japan, one of them being for Mr. Konno, which I hope has been received. This is what I said to him in the letter in Japanese:
“

In regards to the Next Official Mario Kart game for the Nintendo Switch, good luck with however it turns out such as with the Retro Track choices, and hopefully Good Character choices. I also say good luck to however your E3 Presentation is this year, hopefully you’ll announce the Development of the Next Official Mario Kart game for the Switch in it. These Switch Ports of Wii U games I’m sure are not at all interfering with eventual new games, a Bayonetta 2 port isn’t stopping an Eventual Bayonetta 3, and you released both a Hyrule Warriors Port and a Fire Emblem Warriors. We fans have been lucky to see NEW Mario Kart games on each and every Nintendo System that continue to amaze us with what’s been come up with in them. Hope you see this letter before E3 starts/before you arrive in Los Angeles and record your presentation, I sent it from my part of the world on February 10th 2018.
One last thing, you might also want to pass this onto Hideki Konno, the creator of the Mario Kart Franchise, it would certainly if he himself saw what I have to say in this letter as well.
"
I hope the letter is received nice and sound. There's some other stuff that I didn't get to ask and tell you of in that previous letter I sent you that I thought I'd like to point to you. Previously I stated that someday you should actually talk about how you decide upon the roster of each Mario Kart game, and how there was criticism about Mario Kart 8's roster for lacking a good amount of familiar Mario Characters compared to Mario Kart Wii's roster. If you ask me Mario Kart 8's roster of Non-DLC Characters should've looked like this with an even number of playable characters like every other Mario Spinoff had been: https://assets.change.org/photos/6/fu/ij/tZFUiJtftQGFVYE-800x450-noPad.jpg?1510233478
Another thing I'd like to bring up is Super Nintendo World, it's to include a Mario Kart Attraction, and hopefully by then we'll have something new of the Mario Kart franchise. And since I sent the previous letter to you, a Mario Kart game for Mobile Devices was announced to release sometime before March 2019 called Mario Kart Tour, which I guess will probably be like the Arcade Games, and have things set out pretty differently from the Main Mario Kart games such as with having My Nintendo Compatibility, purchasable content, oncoming new content within a year, along with other connections to Nintendo's other Mobile Games. Let's not forget that recently a new Super Smash Bros. game has been announced to be coming to the Switch surprisingly this year, of which appears to actually be a new game as opposed to a Smash 4 port, not sure how long it was worked on for or if it's possible the release could be delayed, but might I say that following the release of Smash 4, there's not been any New Main Official Mario Kart game to date, and since this New Smash Bros. game for Switch would be due to come out before the New Mario Kart game for Switch, it's a shame that tracks, karts and music pieces you include in this Next Official Mario Kart game won't get to be included as a stage to fight on, trophies to be featured, or be music tracks to listen to. We can only hope that the Smash Bros. franchise will have an ongoing future and that future instalments of the franchise will be able to feature stuff from the Next Official Mario Kart game.
Here's something I forgot to ask in my previous letter to you. Is there any explanation for why the newly introduced items in Mario Kart Wii (Mega Mushroom, Thunder Cloud and POW Block) never returned in any future Mario Kart games, and should we ever expect to see any of them? Come to think of it, how do you decided upon items for each Mario Kart game. Good luck I say with however this next Official Mario Kart game turns out, hopefully it'll be even better than Mario Kart 8, such as with the roster, and have amazing new features. Over the years you have amazed us with what you've introduced to the Mario Kart Franchise that's become quite a staple, such as with choosing any vehicle since Mario Kart: Double Dash, featuring Retro Tracks from Previous Mario Kart games since Mario Kart DS, trick performing since Mario Kart Wii, Gliding and Underwater mechanics since Mario Kart 7, and the Anti-Gravity Mechanic since Mario Kart 8. What will we come up with next to amaze us? We can't wait to find out. If you do include DLC for this Next Official Mario Kart game, I guess you'll be featuring a different set of Additional Nintendo Characters and a different set of Mario Power Ups to be racers (hopefully a new Mario game with new Power Ups will come before the Next Official Mario Kart game does). People thought Mario Kart 8 Deluxe would have DLC, but I understand that due to it being a port there was no need for that. Once you've done 10 Official Mario Kart games, you could do a non-main game in the Franchise that covers the Top 100 Tracks, much like how there was a Top 100 for the Mario Party franchise after Mario Party 10's release (I wouldn't be surprised if the Switch also had a Mario Party 10 port, but it having a new Mario Party game at some point would be good too). Either, hope you like my letter, and good luck with how the Next Official Mario Kart game turns out, I look forward to it's announcement, you know for sure that I'll be keeping a good eye out with what there is to be shown off at E3 this year as usual. If I could be a Game Critic one of these years, I might just be able to attend the event myself.
One last thing I'd like to bring up is, remember these key pointers that we'd love to see be brought up at some point with confirmation about them:
*That indeed it is your goal to release a New Official Mario Kart game for each and every Nintendo System, the most popular of all Mario Spinoffs.
*How you decide upon the roster for each Mario Kart game, and as to why Metal Mario and Pink Gold Peach were brought up.
*How you decide upon Retro Tracks for each game.
*How you decide upon Items for each game.
*Why Mario Kart 8's battle mode initially was on tracks to race on as opposed to Battle Arenas.
*If you always aim to release New Mario Kart games port or not every 3 years, or if the consistent gap is merely a coincidence.
*If we can ever expect to see Double Dash gameplay, Mission Mode, Boss Battles and Unique Items for each racer again at any future point in the Franchise.
*If you'd always stick to 16 Nitro and Retro Tracks for each Mario Kart game, or if you'd love to feature 20 again like with Super Mario Kart and Mario Kart: Super Circuit one of these days.
*That there's a solution for if we lost our Mario Kart 8 Highlight Reel Videos we uploaded to YouTube due to maybe losing our Youtube Channels or if we deleted them. I admit this Next Official Mario Kart game could make use of the Switch's Video Capture Feature.
"
There's also this that I previously addressed to be received in one of the events that were after E3 in 2018, not sure if it was received, but do please still read it either way:
"
Hi Nintendo of America and Nintendo in General
It’s me, one of your fans from Australia who previously sent you a letter for E3, now here’s another. Mainly I’m directing this message to Reggie Fils-Aime, Bill Trinen, Krysta Yang, Kit Ellis, Shuntaro Furukawa and Hideki Konno. With that previously letter I sent you talking about the Mario Kart Franchise For you to receive at E3, I don’t know if it got there, but I passed it onto the Contact Form of the Los Angeles Convention Centre who told me they did indeed pass it onto you. Unfortunately there was no announcement at E3 this year in regards to a new Mario Kart game being in Development for the Switch with 16 or 20 NEW Nitro and Retro Tracks being in Development for the system, possibly as the timing was not right and based on what kind of presentation E3 this year for you was about, but I do guarantee that as we speak that Mr. Kimishima would be hard at work on the next main Mario Kart game. Basically I’m sending this to 4 different destinations which is where 4 Possible events of you talking about the future of the Mario Kart franchise could take Place this year: There’s PAX Prime in Seattle, there’s the Tokyo Game Show, there’s the Mobile Gaming Event at the Steve Jobs Theatre where you might show off the first look of the non-main game Mario Kart Tour, and there’s the Game Awards Shows this December. Announcing stuff at these places about upcoming games has been possible over the years. If you receive my message at either of these places, please leave out a sign, then the people at the other places can be told there being no need to pass it on as you’ve already seen it. PS, in my latest message to Mr. Konno, this is what I had to say to him (this is in his language):
"
Mario Kart Wii(Mega Mushroom、Thunder Cloud、POW Block)に新しく導入されたアイテムが将来のMario Kartゲームで返されなかった理由は何ですか?
"
Basically there’s some clearing up that you might want to do sometime in regards to these Switch Ports of Wii U games, especially Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. It would be nice if we learnt their meanings of existence, and to know for certain if they’ll not stop eventual New Games for those franchises as well. The Switch already does have both a Bayonetta 2 Port, and a Bayonetta 3 coming sometime, not to mention a Hyrule Warriors Port when there’s even a Fire Emblem Warriors as well, and there’s already belief that there’ll also be a Xenoblade Chronicles X Port though the Switch already does have a Xenoblade Chronicles 2. I’m sure you didn’t forget that the Mario Kart franchise has had one new game and each and every Nintendo System, and that it’s the most popular of all Mario Spinoffs. Mario Kart 8 as we know is and always will be known as the Mario Kart franchise’s Wii U game, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is just a Port if it which surely does not apply to the franchise’s tradition and only exists for the same reason as other Switch Ports of Wii U games.
As Mario Kart games on Nintendo Systems port or not in recent times have had a tendency to be releasing no more than 3 years apart, as proven by from we’ve seen. This next main Mario Kart game might not release till 2019 or 2020, but please do at some presentation within the next year confirm to us that the game is in development before the first screens of the game have been shown off, which already was proven to be the case with previous main games of the franchise, but still saving it for when the time as right to show off the first screens before the game’s expected release. You know, much like how Metroid Prime 4 and the Eighth Generation of Pokemon at E3 2017 were announced to be in Development without any gameplay being shown off, same said for the 3rd Party game Bayonetta 3 at the Game Awards last year, along with the same way we knew about a new Fire Emblem game, a new Animal Crossing game and Pikmin 4 being in Development for the System before they were shown off for the first time. As stated above, I’m certain that as we speak that Mr. Konno is hard at work on the Next Official Mario Kart game with 16 or 20 NEW Nitro and Retro Tracks as we speak, and would probably save conforming such for once the time is right, which hopefully can be sometime between now and E3 2019 (preferably it would probably be one of those times you use for gaming announcements). It is appreciated that he’d be taking his time with the game, but the meaning of existence for these Switch Ports of Wii U Games is something worth talking about sometime.
Hope I said the best I could in this message for you as usual, and I hope you receive it at one of these places I sent it to before the end of this year. I may not be a Game Critic (but I indeed do hope to be one someday), but here’s 10 things I believe Mr. Konno should bring up and clear up sometime about the Mario Kart franchise of which the Nintendo fanbase including myself is eager to know about:
*That indeed it is his goal to release a New Official Mario Kart game for each and every Nintendo System, the most popular of all Mario Spinoffs.
*How they decide upon the roster for each Mario Kart game, and as to why Metal Mario and Pink Gold Peach were brought up. It’s also worth finding out if ever Familiar Mario Characters like Nabbit, Pauline, E Gadd and Kamek could ever have a chance at being playable in the franchise.
*How they decide upon Retro Tracks for each game. Worth questioning it is as to why DS Waluigi Pinball was included in Mario Kart 7 though there was no Waluigi, and why all N64 Retro Tracks in Mario Kart 7 were those originally from the Mushroom Cup. Of course unless they appear as DLC or if they run out of Retro Tracks from a game, we know for certain that these tracks from older Mario Kart games only get one shot.
*How they decide upon Items for each game, and if we can expect the 3 New Items of Mario Kart Wii to ever have a comeback in later Mario Kart games.
*Why Mario Kart 8's battle mode on the Wii U initially was on tracks to race on as opposed to Battle Arenas (tracks you could successfully drive around backwards in the whole way through), which is something the Mario Kart 8 port fixed up.
*If they always aim to release New Mario Kart games port or not every 3 years in recent times, or if the consistent gap is merely a coincidence.
*If we can ever expect to see Double Dash gameplay, Mission Mode, Boss Battles and Unique Items for each racer again at any future point in the Franchise. Something we’re all wondering about. Personally I’m uncertain if Double Dash Gameplay could work out with the newly introduced aspects each new game has introduced (trick performing, gliding, anti-gravity, and whatever’s next), but I guess we’ll have to simply wait and see.
*If they'd always stick to 16 Nitro and Retro Tracks for each Mario Kart game, or if they’d love to feature 20 again like with Super Mario Kart and Mario Kart: Super Circuit one of these days.
*If there's a solution for if we lost our Mario Kart 8 Highlight Reel Videos we uploaded to YouTube during the days when it was possible to do so, due to maybe losing our Youtube Channels or if we deleted the videos of them. I admit this Next Official Mario Kart game should maybe make use of the Switch's Video Capture Feature.
I’m sure Mr. Konno someday would be very happy to talk about these things. It’s been nice talking to you Overall, happy gaming too might I add. Hope this letter for you to see manages to get to you safe and sound, and that it also gets brought up to Mr. Konno, the creator of the Mario Kart franchise himself. I’m pretty glad as much as anyone that you over the years have been releasing new Mario Kart games for every Nintendo System over the years, something that should always be the case, even if the legacy someday were eventually passed onto someone else. Good luck I say with how the next main Mario Kart game for the Switch turns out whenever it does release, hopefully it’ll continue the trend of being better then the previous.

Now to talk about stuff I haven't talked you about before. I was if ever it would be possible to give Specific Outfits to choose from at some point in the franchise. You know, like Mario could wear outfits he wore in Super Mario Odyssey, and Wario could wear his biker outfit, pretty this is like how as DLC we could select different colours for Yoshi and Shy Guy in Mario Kart 8 (hopefully this'll also apply to Toad and Koopa Troopa in future Mario Kart games as well). Another thing I'd like to ask you of is of one of these years you'd consider giving retro tracks their own unique fanfares, results themes and overview themes, of which are remixed of the game that they're from. One last thing I'd like to point out is that I hope you can eventually include these sorts of tracks at some point in the Mario Kart franchise that haven't been used of before, being a casino track, a land of giant objects track, a land of paint track, a theme park track, a space track outside Rainbow Road, and a sawmill track, plus you one of the years putting the words "glacier" and "cemetery" into an ice and ghost themed track respectively. Hope I mentioned the best I could and I hope you receive this letter eventually. Good luck I say to whenever the next official Mario Kart game does release, I'm it is indeed the aim in recent games to release Mario Kart games no more then 3 years apart in recent times. I also say best of luck for whenever this year the next official Mario Kart game for the Switch with 16 or 20 NEW nitro and retro tracks does get announced to be in development for the Switch, no matter when in the year it is, it certainly would make our day whenever it is thought I'd confess. One thing we can expect for certain in 2019 is the Mobile Game Mario Kart Tour, but it falls under the same category as the Arcade games for not being a main one, plus a time will likely come when it becomes no longer usable based on what happens with all Mario Kart games."
