Add Peppa Pig to Super Smash Bros as a dlc fighter!
The Issue
Super Smash Brothers is one of nintendos most successful franchises. However there is a real marketing error Nintendo has made for years. The game has never added a true game changer, all the fighter come from popular video game franchises, Never any recognition of cinematic masterpeices; such as peppa pig.
Now lets get started on WHY Peppa pig is worthy of inclusion of a dlc fighter: Peppa pig is by far one of the most successful TV shows of all time (won 3 British academy children's awards for best pre school animation: 2005, 2011, 2012) (On 31 December 2019, Hasbro acquired Entertainment One for a US$3.8 billion deal.) (The series is shown in 180 territories including the UK, US and Japan.) (Peppa Pig - Official Channel has 15.4+ million subscribers on youtube, more than double Nintendo's subscriber count on youtube, not to mention Peppa Pig - Official Channel more than 9.45 BILLION views). These figures do not lie, it shows how much attention a Peppa Pig dlc would achieve. It wouild attract lots of new players and would earn millions for Nintendo. But you might argue "Peppa Pig does not have a game lol" Not True! Peppa Pig has 2 games: Peppa Pig: The game and Peppa Pig: Fun and Games. Peppa Pig in smash would be a magnet for new smash fans. Plus a Peppa Pig 2d/3d render would be easy to devolop and would create no lag issues during gameplay
But now what would a peppa pig dlc offer? Dont worry I have Ideas:
1: Peppa Pig a Playable fighter.
2: Peppa Pig's friends and family as assist trophies
3. A peppa Pig themed Stage.
4. 16 amazing songs from "My First Album (Peppa Pig album)"
5. Peppa Pig will be a relatively quick fighter, with pretty good air speed and recovery. She will have a very optimistic and innocent gameplay. And she will have great specials: neutural: Throw (projectile of some desctiption) Side: Bike ride (similar to Wario's motor cylcle but deals less damage, however faster and hard to hit) Up: Big Ballon (Peppa rides a hot air ballon, brilliant for recovery) Down: Muddy Puddle (Counter move, If opponent hits peppa in this condition they are buired and 20 damage is inflicted on them giving peppa free will to attack (will knock opponent back down if in air)) I would suggest tilts, smash and airels however I would like to see what nintendo and Peppa Peppa pig come up with.
