I'm sure if you're reading this then you're aware of the unlawful and violent killing of George Floyd at the hands of four US police officers abusing their power. This is a harsh reality for many black Americans and a constant stressor of their everyday lives. From police brutality to disparities in healthcare, unequal living conditions, and the overall systemic racism ingrained within America, black-Americans get the short end of the stick every time. Well, people have had enough and are standing up to the unjust systems in place by protesting but have been met with military-style assaults from police and nation guard soldiers; regardless of whether they're peaceful or not!

Major brands like Nike, Reebok, Adidas, Puma, and Under Armour have all voiced their support for the protesters and Black Lives Matter cause so we are now calling on them to do more! These are 5 of the world's largest manufacturers of protective sports gear and so we ask that they help keep protesters safe and peaceful by donating any and all protective gear they can to organizations and groups who have been observed to peacefully protest.

Helmets, face visors, goggles, knee & elbow pads, wrist guards, etc would all help out greatly as protestors face excessive police force that includes, being shot in the face with rubber and wooden bullets, being pushed to the ground and trampled by stampedes of officers, being hit with tear gas canisters to the head and body, being physically assaulted and dogpiled on by officers 2-3x their size. A lot of this is happening to PEACEFUL protestors who are exercising their right to peaceful assembly. 

So again we are calling on YOU, Nike, Reebok, Adidas, Puma, Under Armour, and any other sportswear manufacturers to help keep our peaceful protestors SAFE and ensure they make it back home ALIVE as they fight for the rights of millions of Americans!
