Our entire neighborhood deserves to live in peace , without fear and crime that the occupants at 46 Hess have created .

The article doesnt talk about the drug use and drug deals that go on every day and night .

 

This house was owned by Vernon Ahjohn he passed away Nov 2022. Almost immediately his daughter and boyfriend moved in . The house was abandoned for years . He passed without a will and has four ex wife's and at least four other children in the states . 

Kimberly Tolgyes is the fifth daughter who moved herself in with her boyfriend Ray . The house is not in her name And to my knowledge, these four Ex-Wives and other siblings do not know that she is living in this house and what she is doing. 

The disaster there is no toilet. No plumbing, no heat, no taps of any kind to wash. The house itself is falling apart and they have made it into a hoard inside and the entire backyard is full of stolen items. If you live in this neighborhood, you know exactly what we're talking about every night between 2:00 and 5:00 a.m. Ray And his workers as he calls the go out, stealing e-bikes motorcycles, etc. Lately. It's also been construction equipment so they can strip it down and sell the copper. The house is just simply falling apart 

I have seen the paperwork so I know the facts because Kimberly has shown it to me. Hoping I would help her ( fat chance ) 

The taxes used to come out of Vernon's account automatically as well as hydro. When the bank realized he had passed away, they froze his account. I know for a fact that hydro is in arrears because Kimberly gave me her hydro bill. I guess thinking I was going to pay it for again. I think not. Anyhow, the taxes are public record. They too have not been paid

These two have brought nothing but frustration. Crimes  and disturbance to our neighborhood 

The noise alone specifically for myself and Patrick who is at 48 Hess. It's unbearable. These two have absolutely no respect for anybody else nor do they care. I have tried the nice approach. I have tried the not so nice approach. I have tried police. I have tried City Hall. This is why we ended up going to the media 

I do have a meeting planned with the mayor's office later this month, so I would really like it if I was able to go with a petition so they could understand that these people basically are an encampment in a house that they're not legally supposed to be in

 

The point of this petition is the city is in a position to get them out now. There are more than enough building code. Infractions not only is this house an eyesore, but it's actually a danger to us as well. With the taxes being unpaid there's no reason why they should be waiting the apparent 3 years that they wait before they take it and sell it 

If you live in this neighborhood, you know exactly what we're talking about. Chances are you've had an encounter with Ray or Kim. They are nasty and abusive. This goes on night after night after night 

A little history about 15 years ago. Apparently she lived here with another boyfriend and it was the same behavior and the neighbors were able to get a criminal nuisance charge laid against her which barred her from the neighborhood for 2 years 

 

I'm also looking to take this to the police with the city. They have told me they are very aware of this house and the problems. However, that doesn't help us or the meth use that goes on day after day right on the front lawn in front of people. There have been young kids that we have seen that are O2 eyes and by the way on camera, everybody in the neighborhood has one pointing right at their house. It's dangerous and it's disgusting. We are not safe. They need to go. They are disruptive. They're not good people. We all are just trying to go to work everyday. Pay our bills. Pay our taxes. These guys all they're interested in is selling and doing drugs and doing whatever it is that they want when they want it is just atrocious 

I am going to present this to the mayor's office at my meeting and as I said also police primary management. I am hoping that they will understand the magnitude of this problem. It doesn't just affect myself and Patrick. It affects everybody in the apartment, buildings and every house in this neighborhood. We all want a safe, quiet, respectful set of neighbors and for the most part I have to say this is a wonderful neighborhood. I've been here for 5 years and I love it. Except for these two there's been in many times where I thought I'm going to sell but why should I have to leave? Why should you have to leave? Why should we have to live with this? We don't. They don't want to help themselves. That is not our problem 

We are all tired of calling 911 because somebody has overdosed from drugs. They purchased right on their front lawn. We're all tired of calling 911 because she is screaming and yelling at people. Usually her boyfriend at 3:00 and 4:00 in the morning screaming his name instead of using a cell phone like a normal human and then there is always the fact that she or he rips somebody off and they come back to get pay back. They have replaced that front door probably 20 times in the last year. I have it all on video because it gets kicked in constantly. The violence is ridiculous but I understand why these people are doing it because they got ripped off at the same time. Like I have said to the police and to the city one of these days it's going to be a gun. That is my fear 

We as a neighborhood need to take back our neighborhood and not tolerate the sort of behavior or these actions 

Please give us your support so that we can get this problem rectified. This has been going on for almost 2 years now. It's time it's something be done. If it were you, you would want the same. The fact is this does include you too because it affects you as well
