The country has lost great number of intellectual youths in this period of so called NYSC. Some died during elections serving as electoral workers, some accidents by travelling long distance, some health challenges due to inability to cope with new environments, some assaults,  and most recently at the orientation camp. If they are not safe right under the watch of the government,  how can their safety be guaranteed when already posted to unknown places to them?

Most importantly, it is a whole year gone from the life of a fresh graduate which is more or less a wasted year.
