Irish-Nigerian Citizens, We Stand As One
The Issue
The blood shed in Nigeria is enough! The level of unemployment, criminality, abuse of power, poverty, lack of accessible public education, basic infrastructure and healthcare is unacceptable! All because of greed and corruption! It is enough.
We are calling on the people's democratic government of Nigeria, an elected government, to not only respond but address these issues immediately and put a stop to the wanton killings of Nigerian youths who are the nation's future! It is enough.
The Nigerian government is destabilising the future of Nigeria and her citizens, especially her youth!
Today, I, a Nigerian-Irish citizen, call on other Nigerian-Irish citizens, to stand up, speak and sign this petition publicly, against this ongoing assault and crime against her brothers and sisters on the homeland.
Nigeria is still home. We stand together. We lament the inhumane treatment of our brothers and sisters on home-soil. It has to stop. It is enough.
We call on both the Irish Governments (who are tackling covid-19 issues) to speak to the Nigerian government on behalf of her citizens.
God bless the citizens of Nigeria! God bless the Irish State!
