We appreciate the support of Ugwumba Fellows, Ugwumba Women and the general public towards the release of Ugwumba Uche Nwosu last night, Sunday, December 26, 2021 by 11.30pm.

Contrary to the earlier press release made by the Public Affairs Department of the Imo State Police Command in Owerri, information reaching us suggests that the Inspector General of Police denied ever approving the invitation and or arrest (abduction) of Ugwumba Uche Nwosu, the President of Ugwumba Center for Leadership Development in Africa.

We therefore demand a public apology from the Imo State Commissioner of Police and the Nigeria Police Force Headquarters, Abuja for that despicable and dehumanizing act.
