Currently the Dart Charge scheme provides a local residents discount for people living in the areas of Thurrock and Dartford. However Dart Charge does not provide a discount for people that have to travel to Dartford and Thurrock daily for work purposes. I would like to see this changed, particularly for people working in the public services. I am a teacher working at a college in Dartford, Kent. I travel from Essex daily to Dartford. I am not on a high salary. Today I received 5 PCN's totalling over £187 because my account was over by 4p. I think it is a disgrace and I would like to see this changed. I am sure there are many more people like me that agree. The website is also not upto date on a daily basis and the AA have gone on record to condemn the ever rising costs of the Dart Charge. Lets get this changed!
