My son, Abel Joseph Fischetti, is my entire world. About 3 months ago, Nicole Catanzaro, Abels mother left our South Carolina home while I was at work. We had been fighting for about a week prior, Nicole suffers from bi polar disorder and manic depression and has been on medication for it since the age of 14. She had stopped therapy during pregnancy due to the harm It could cause our baby. In the 6 years I've known Nicole, we've barely even had an argument until she had stopped said therapy. I made excuses, like its the hormones, it's her parents or her friends or her depression but it wasn't. She has a severe medical disorder that many people suffer with on a daily basis. I'm not a doctor but I cannot imagine anyone being just fine after taking medication for ten years without there being any repercussions. Nicole has called the police on me a total of 9 times this year, she has made false accusations of harassment. Assault, battery, etc. I have yet to be arrested for any of those accusations. New York is a zero tolerance state for any domestic violence case if there is even the slightest probably cause. I'm still free and working because there was no evidence. In the midst my beautiful baby boy has suffered the most. She took him from our home in South Carolina when he had a 103 fever just the day before. And would not even answer my phone calls when I was desperately worried about my child. I have provided for him and her since Abels birth. Nicole quit her job 3 months into her pregnancy because I gave her the option to. Not that it was the best idea but because I wanted to take care of the woman I loved while she beared our child. It has been 3 months since she's left and I have seen my son a total of 2 and a half hours that entire time. Every time I askto take himout I get an excuse, oh I can't get out, he's sleeping, I'm busy and the latest, my lawyer doesn't think it's a good idea. I have another month until we go to family court and I don't want to lose another minute watching my son grow up. The entire time Nicole and I have been apart she hasn't worked a single day, nor had provided for him in the slightest bit. She cannot afford even a cell phone, let alone our child. I'm serious, she doesn't have a cell phone. I deserve to see my son. Not whenever I want, but at a time that works for both of us that's lasts for a substantial amount of time until court decides how much time is appropriate. Please help me let me see my son.
