Nick Folker, graduate and former student-athlete at University of Hawaii Swimming, has been the Assistant  Coach for the past 3 years. We are asking for your support in his advancement to Head Coach.

Nick has worked tirelessly in recruiting, training and mentoring some of the most talented athletes at UH Swimming over the past 3 years. His ascension will maintain a continuity with the team that will make transition to an improved program easier for our student-athletes. 

Nick is more than qualified to build a winning program at Hawaii. An Olympian himself, he has coached multiple All American, National Champion and Olympic swimmers. He is internationally recognized as a top tier coach and trainer. Before returning to University of Hawaii, Nick, was   Performance Director at Cal- Berkeley for 7 National Championships, coaching 35 Olympic swimmers and 22 Olympic Medalist. 

Nick also has strong ties to our local community. He has built relationships with community organizers, charities, coaches, local professional athletes and celebrities. He understands that community support can be a key factor in a winning program.

Nick Folker is the right choice for Hawaii Swimming. A graduate of our school, who went on to do great things, and is eager to be home and share his knowledge and experience with us to enable the next generation’s success.
