Fish and wildlife refuge for the Whyte Islets off Robert's Creek, bc.
The Issue
The white eyelets off of Roberts Creek in British Columbia are home to a multitude of species that both live there year-round and also use it has a Gathering Place annually. The Steller sea lion and California sea lions bring life to our oceans and require the whyte islets to do their work.
Currently there is no protection for the islets and so they suffer both commercial fishing and Sportfishing as well as Industrial noise from large ships.
Orca are continually scene in the area hunting for sea lions which makes these unique formations an extraordinary important part healthy environment of the Salish sea
I hope you will join me and West Coast Wildlife In petitioning MLA Nicholas Simons to consider taking action on this point.
