Niantic, we need you more than ever.

Niantic, we need you more than ever.
The Issue
Recently, Scopely, a Saudi Arabia game company that exists, has purchased Niantic's entire game section for a Dynamaxed price of $3.5 billion. However, even if this means big changes for the future, Niantic did not have the best reputation for trying to make money. They targeted in person events to make them exclusive to a few people, but they still let other free to play players enjoy it after a week of waiting. This was how Niantic made money and it wasn't even that bad. Not to mention other games that me, along with other players haven't played, but will get left in the dust.
Now, with what other people have seen, games acquired by Scopely have been ruined and given a massive paywall, not to mention the constant nuke of ads on your screen. Check players who previously loved games like "Marvel Strike Force" or the infamous "Monopoly Go!" that is known for being heavy on P2W. I have seen many reviews about people whining that there are too many ads and money schemes. I have even seen false ads explaining that the game has no adds. CLEARLY, THIS IS NOT THE CASE.
Now, what could this mean in the future for our beloved Pocket Monsters? Well, many people speculate different things. In many comment sections for Pokemon Go videos, people are "joking" saying things like "You found a shiny! Pay $1.99 or watch 2 ads!" or "Don't worry, there won't be ads... if you buy the monthly pass, which will still give ads!". Even some saying that if they increase prices or add commercials, they will quit the game. I am one of those people, who will stop my gaming and find a better thing. Even some people on Fandom have said that the game was already P2W, but with ads, it will be super unplayable. However, a few youtubers say that this might be a good thing, as they will make changes that other players want. One of the common topics is unlimited Remote Raids. This will probably happen... IF YOU BUY THE $20 TICKET AND WATCH AN AD BEFORE EVERY RAID! THIS WILL PROBABLY BE SOME SORT OF WEEK SUBSCRITPTION THAT "PROMISES" THINGS AND DOESN'T GIVE THEM.
Well I have explained a lot, but it comes down to the final thought: why players need to act now. Niantic, as most of us know, has always had a thing for making money. They grossed the most in 2020. This was the year of the pandemic, where even if you couldn't walk outside, many players got livestreaming so they could hunt for rare things. Niantic is fresh out of the oven, still with some Pokemon Go heat. This game was the reason that they made money, why many distant gamers who sat in the shadows touched grass AND grass types. This is how I met a lot of great people, in game, and out in the world. Please Niantic, if you see this, take it back. Many players will quit if this goes bad, and your money printing game will perish in the dust because of Scopely. If you go bankrupt, this will be the root of the problem, and the only solution is to buy it back.
The Pokemon Company may be fine with this, but a 100 million of us are almost all unhappy. If this re-purchase means removing remote raids entirely and slightly raising prices, so be it, I rather have raised prices than have to watch an ad to catch a Galarian Articuno that will flee.
