The featured Pokemon in July's Community Day was Squirtle. Many players asked Niantic to give Squirtle sunglasses. The Squirtle Squad sunglasses. When Niantic announced its plans to actually put sunglasses on Squirtle, everyone was filled with joy. Our voices were finally heard. Niantic is actually listening to the players. We thought. Then we were robbed with generic sunglasses that don't even look good. They took the easy was out and just took the sunglasses from Summer Pikachu and added them to Squirtle. Not even remotely close to what we wanted, what we deserve, or what Squirtle deserves. I think everyone deserves the proper Squirtle that we all asked for. Not this generic version that Niantic threw together, just to get everyone to shut up.
