I am an avid Pokémon Go player, and recently I got some spinal damage (pinched nerve)which makes it impossible to take more than ten steps without needing to sit or lay down because of the pain. I still manage pretty well considering, I usually use my car to get around, and Pokémon spawn relatively close to my home. However this has made me more aware of the issues facing the differently-abled. Persons who like me have difficulty getting around, or even persons that can not get around at all. I use to think that the Pokémon go joysticks etc was bogus, especially the teleportation, but now I can see the usefulness.  I am asking you all to sign my petition for Niantic to create an official Pokémon Go joystick. It can have limits, like no teleporting or a range limit, like 1KM from your actual location.  This will enable a lot of persons to play the game. A little research can show you the positive impact playing has had on others, like persons with autism or anxiety issues, I think a little effort could bring a lot of joy to our differently-abled comrades.
