Over 71's are denied an automatic breast screening referral and therefore need to request a screening. Currently the over 71's are being completely denied a breast screening by the Scottish Government.  NHS chiefs have ordered GP's not to promote or refer breast screening to over 71's. According to research this puts the over 71's at unnecessary risk of undiagnosed breast cancer. By creating this petition I am lobbying the Scottish government, NHS and MSPs to revoke this outragous and disgraceful decision. I ask you to stand with me to fight against the horrific show of ageism and discrimination from our government. Help me bring a stop over 71's lives being put at risk!
