Just a very quick update on the Chrissy B Show which I told you about in my earlier update. In a change to what I told you previously, the show will in fact be on tomorrow, Friday 7 October at 10pm (on SKY 203). Please watch if you can, but don’t worry if not, as the programme will also appear on Chrissy’s YouTube channel and I will share a link to that once it is available. Going on the show was a really positive experience, despite being a bit emotional and nerve wracking. I met two other lovely and brave mums who very sadly also lost their baby sons to group B Strep – Caroline (baby Samuel) and Margaret (baby Isaac). Having this in common meant that we could all speak a similar message and help to raise awareness together. Like so many other people, the presenter Chrissy said that she had not heard of GBS prior to researching the show and so this really underlines how important it is for our message to be shown, shared and repeated as often and in as many different ways as possible – so please do keep doing it.
