Government Health Minister Matt Hancock has completely mismanaged the current coronavirus crisis. With no training or experience in any field of health care he has continually failed to deliver on any of the undertakings has has provided on a daily basis for weeks on end. Front line workers - doctors, nurses, carers - in the NHS and the care home and community sectors have been grossly under supplied, promised levels of testing have failed to appear, promised vital equipment has not been supplied. This has resulted in a high level of preventable deaths, both amongst people with covid-19 and those caring for them. This would have been preventable if Hancock had managed the crisis properly; instead he has muddled about, making unrealistic promises but in fact delivering nothing more than a useless and frankly patronising 'care' badge. He must resign or be dismissed immediately.
