Stephen S A MLondon, ENG, United Kingdom

Dec 10, 2016
CTR meeting went as well as expected.
Wasting to hear the outcome.
One great thing about it, Was that the independent pcychiatrist we had to prove that Stephen does not need to be in hospital, he was outraged at the amount of meds Ste is on,
And he told them so.
He agreed with me on the meds issue.
Said that in order to get a med to work you have to try it on its own. Not pilling them on top.
He also agreed Ste is no better under this care hospital the that amount of meds, as St. Andrews. In fact he says it's about the same it's just a slight slight decrease on the medication.
This pcychiatrist is a leading pcychiatrist in the whole of England. He was on the radio 4 homes not hospitals, I was so gobsmcked, when I see him coming in.
I knew they nhs was trying to get a top dog, but never in my imagination did I think they were getting him.
I won't name him because it wouldn't be professionally.
So I know what CTR recommendations are as him.
But my issue is the CR the consultant at the hospital.
He won't take kindly to have a top young consultant pcychiatrist in the county to tell him what he is doing wrong.
I was also told but Stephen solicitor there, it was a coincidence seeing him there, he was there to see Stephen about an upcoming judiciary review, Stephen never had one. And by law someone who is under the mental health act should have one, now it is automatically done.
Anyway as I sat with him talking strategies, he told me that he believes the hospital won't discharge Ste no matter who tells them.
He said you have to look at this from their point of view. They are not seeing Stephen or the other patients. They are seeing this , your son as a business. Well Blimey you don't say.
He also told me he knows the hospital well has had clients there before, has another one there aside from Stephen, this client has been on a list to leave for over a year, but the pcychiatrist has always an excuse. And Ste is not the only one, who has been given dates fir take meds off so we can work with him so he can go home, and a month later the people turn up and intead of meds being taken off, they increase it, a ploy to keep them there, hence being a buisiness.
They don't care about the patients. They care about money. And talking about money and business, they just merged their company with the Priory.
The priory of all people, a company that have been in the news about lots of deaths and serious incidents.
That priory that is very high profile drugs and alcohol addiction private clinics for the rich and famous, well those spoiled people who be themselves in that situation, are treated well, why you ask? You know the answers, now vulnerable young people with learning and autism and young girls with mental health issues are treated differently, so now this money grabbing people taking over my sons care, I now need to take my son asap from that hell hole.
If Stephen does not come hom after the CTR recommendations then the not one thing to do.
Court. We have to go to court. Bellow is a letter I got from the hospital informing me of the take over by priory.
