I would like there to be more funding into inpatient mental health services in the uk. This would decrease the risk of suicide in inpatient settings as it would allow for more staff to be available , less agency staff , more therapeutic interventions and more beds to those in need. Too many people have lost there lives whilst there meant to be in a secure and safe environment. I would like the government to look into ways of supporting inpatient settings financially to decrease the risk of fatality from a lack of safeguarding measures put in place.
