I have some fantastic news to share. I lodged a petition with Scottish Parliament to raise the issue of the number of hospitals and out of hours services in Scotland and today that petition has been approved and is now live on the Parliament website. 

And now comes the big ask - we have until the 13th May to gather as many signatures as possible after which time the petition will be “lodged” and scheduled for consideration by the Public Petitions Committee. So I need to ask you all to follow the link to the live petition; sign it and then share it with everyone you know; through every social platform, twitter; Facebook, whatever you use, please sign it, share it and spread the word. 
This is a huge chance for us to get the issue of hospitals into towns and communities that badly need them and in particular a hospital in Cumbernauld raised, so please sign and share this new petition as far and as wide as you can.
