Ben Elton started this petition to NHS Holderness health and

Enough is enough, Holderness Health as taken us back to the dark ages, no appointments, no face to face, asking us to research our own symptoms, diagnosis and treatment.

Contrary to popular belief the NHS is NOT free, its a service most of us pay for through general taxation supplemented by National Insurance contributions (NICs). These include charges for prescriptions and dental treatment introduced in the early 1950s.

The new Holderness Health super practice is responsible for 36,000 patients and we are not getting what we are paying for.

The seven surgeries involved are at Hedon Group Practice, Church View Surgery at Hedon, Keyingham Surgery, Prospect Surgery at Keyingham, St Nicholas Surgery at Withernsea, Roos Surgery and St Patrick’s Surgery, Patrington.

6 weeks ago I ruptured my achilles tendon, now I'm a veteran amputee with one leg so this caused me quite a bit of grief

6th May 21 had to wait for a call back, not from the doctor but a receptionist who informed me she will make an appointment for me, not face to face, a call back.

30th May 21 received a call from the GP who informed me she will make a physio appointment for me, not face to face, a call back.

21st Jun 21 received call from a Physio who advised me to download a PDF file from the NHS website with exercises listed.

I'm still in agony, havent seen anyone, trying to do my own physio but really struggling and I thought there was such a thing called a military covenant with the NHS.

I don't know anyone who is happy with Holderness Heath. Enough is enough, its time Graham Stuart MP and East Riding Council become involved with this farce of a service and get it sorted.
