NHS Dental Nurses are recruited, employed and paid through practice owners, NOT the NHS. We should therefore be entitled to received furloughed payments. 

Many NHS Dental Nurses are high risk and vulnerable individuals and / or live with individuals that fall into a high risk category. Although NHS Dental nurses are being offered their full wage rate, this comes attached to the prospect of being deployed, leaving a lot of NHS Dental Nurse feeling back into a corner, and having the make an impossible choice. Risk to themselves and their families, or unemployment. 

NHS DENTAL NURSES ARE NOT EMPLOYED BY THE NHS, WE RECEIVE NO BENEFITS THAT COME ALONGSIDE WORKING FOR THE NHS, INCLUDING NHS PENSION.
