Today, the Philadelphia Flyers/New York Islanders and the Vegas Golden Knights/Vancouver Canucks play in the second round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

They shouldn't.

The National Hockey League should stand with Black Lives Matter and refuse to provide a distraction when the world should reckon with the shooting of Jacob Blake at the hands of Officer Rusten Sheskey. 

The NHL shouldn't have played yesterday, but they can make the active choice to postpone the games today. 

As fans of hockey, we don't want to see the games today. #HockeyFans4Change 

It is not enough to show an "End Racism" statement and have less than half a minute of silent acknowledge. We need action.
