Poonammallee High Road popularly known as PH road in Chennai which starts at Chennai leads to Poonammallee, Kanchipuram and to Bangalore. NH4, NH48. It has been a horrible experience for the last 10 years.  the Part of Golden quadrilateral was constructed in 2005 giving a great hope to the residents of Chennai. The road that was a lifeline during the 2015 mega floods has been ignored the most. Road that leads to many educational institutions, hospitals, Industries, highway connecting Bangalore is the least attended since 10years. Tamil Nadu Government is keen on laying roads adding up additional burden to the people owning farm lands and don’t bother to look into this Highway which has been a source of income through SIPCOT and major automotive industries. I’m not sure if any other road user has been complaining about this issue to the concerned authorities but I have been doing so almost every quarter. Horrible traffic at any given time of the day as the roads are shared by Heavy vehicles too leading to sluggish movement of vehicles and as a matter of concern even Ambulances get struck. Junctions at Vanagaram, Vellapanchavadi, Poonammallee-Avadi cross road and Nazarethpet are the main areas where roads are filled with only potholes whcih basically leads to this kind of Traffic. This also leads to regular road traffic accidents though not casualties leading to road rage and interpersonal violence causing inhuman behaviour amongst the citizens. Wastage of fuel as vehicles spend a lot of time in the traffic.  Already draught ridden Chennai witnessing a huge vehicular traffic now being added up with water tanker lorries plying through these roads are causing a state of anguish with road users. I cannot put forth too much in this aspect but I want a change to be seen for the benefit of fellow citizens and make a travel a better experience.
