Why this petition matters

The Houston Texans franchise should be investigated by NFL commissioner Roger Goodell and the NFL Player's Association for gross mismanagement, workplace abuse, and wrongful termination.

Over the past several years, there have been many questionable decisions made by the team, including the trade of DeAndre Hopkins and now the potential trade of Deshaun Watson. Neither of which have to do with playing ability or contract weight.

There's also been controversy with former Texans owner Bob McNair's "Inmates running the prison" comment, which he later regretted apologizing for.

Additionally, the Texans have fired well respected and loved employees including PR Director Amy Palcic and now Equipment Manager Mike Parson.

One search on Twitter of former Texans players will also show many speaking out about the work environment in Houston, and it's not positive.

The fans of the Houston Texans deserve better franchise management and the players deserve a better work environment.

With that, we ask that at the minimum, Roger Goodell and the NFL open an investigation into the operations of the Houston Texans franchise out of safety for its players and employees.

If these investigations prove that the environment is toxic in nature, Texans owner Cal McNair must be forced to sell the team.
