Get Nexus Mods to Make the Recent Marriage Mods Downloadable Again
The Issue
Recently a mod was released on the Nexus Mods website under Skyrim Special Edition.
The mod released removed all same-sex marriage options from the game. While I don't think this in itself would be extremely bad from a role playing stand point, the same mod author created more mods effectively removing what few references to homosexuality there is in the game. However, since they were not malicious in the mod's description it did not break the sites rules.
This of course, still got out of hand and instead of Nexus actually doing something about the issue, they simply locked the comments on the mods. Making it so the trolls and haters on the site were silent but so were the genuine people. The mod author could voice their own opinion but no one else's.
So in retaliation and to make fun of these mods, other modders started making opposites of them. Like removing all opposite-sex gender marriage, removing marriage all together, or even as simple as changing the Dawnstar guard shield texture to a rainbow flag. Other modder made jokes, like "Only Straight Swords" removing all scimitars from the game.
However, Nexus couldn't just run from the issues now. Multiple people were creating mods back and forth, since they couldn't argue directly without getting blocked, banned, suspended, etc. So Nexus conveniently hid most of the mods from this surge from their site for "Moderation Review". Yeah, so effectively they may as well have been deleted as I doubt we'll ever see them out of review. But if Nexus out right deletes them it'll look like they're taking a side. Aka: actually doing something about the issue instead of just covering it up.

This petition is to bring the mods back out into the light. They didn't break any Nexus rules, so why are they hiding except for then to cover it up. As much as I'd like only the homosexual ones to be shown again, that's not fair since technically the definitely not homophobic ones don't break the rules either.
As of today, I have emailed Nexus Mods Support to inform them of my disappointment. I'm NOT asking you to boycott Nexus Mods, I'm simply asking you to sign this petition and share it and your opinions. Post it in your bios on Nexus Mods and Fourms, other sites like AFK mods, etc. Wherever you think is best. Even emailing Nexus yourself.
Share your voice. Don't let them just hide it under "moderation review".
