Players over the last 10 years that Maple Story has been out have been enjoying the game in a variety of manners. Lately the game has focused more on players needing to spend money in real life to earn items in game. Many players do not like the idea of this, and think the gap between money spenders and normal players is too wide. Nexon Korea and Nexon North America recently created an update for the game called "Reboot" which was supposed to allow players that did not want, and did not anyone else, to be able to pay their way to the top. However, upon releasing the patch notes for their most recent update they revealed that they would be including "Reboot meso sacks" which would allow players to gain "Millions of mesos". In doing so this would encourage players that have gained plenty of NX from any method, whether it be legitimate or not, to purchase their way to the top. Players being able to purchase game changing items would allow the power gap to be rather large still. This completely defeats the purpose of the Reboot world and many players are upset about it. The purpose of this petition is to try to convince Nexon North America to remove these meso sacks from the Reboot world, and not implement anything that could improve game play drastically in any way.
