Filly is the main character of the main account belonging to the creator of the Paradise's Public Raid Server, a Discord server made to help the raiding community of Mabinogi find the raids.  It is no secret the server utilized bots in a way that violated the game's Terms of Service (ToS), but this function was by no means harmful to the game or its community.  It was, in fact, well-intentioned and beneficial to the community as a whole.  While there must certainly be consequences for violations of the ToS, I argue that a permanent ban on Filly's primary account is uncalled for and that leniency ought to be shown and given.  The raid bot and its server may remain defunct as a consequence, but Filly deserves to retain the ability to play the game he loves with the character he poured his soul into.

     Allow me to provide context about the situation that gave rise to the raid bot.  Since the merging of the game's servers, Filly and the other raiders would provide calls manually to an already-existing raiding Discord server for the Avalon Raids, Mokkurkalfi and Sylvan Dragon.  These raids last fourteen (14) hours each day, spawning randomly within their time windows across random channels.  The only notification the game provides when one spawns is a quick message across the center of the screen without record in the chat log, and only to the players on the channel of the spawn at the time of spawn.  The randomized nature of these spawns and lack of adequate notifications lead tot he creation of the pre-existing raid server and the need to manually scout and call the raids by the players.  The reliance on the raiders to provide information allows for certain individuals who find the raid spawns first to defeat them without providing any information to the community.  This limits the materials provided by the raids, upsets dedicated raiders, and creates a toxic play environment at times.

     The creation of the raid bots and the hosting Discord server alleviated the burden of scouting on the raiders and prevented much dubious activity at the raids, albeit not all.  While certain players still found ways to harass the community at Avalon, the situation was far more preferable for the majority of the raiders compared to manual calls.  Allow me to make it abundantly clear that I am not asking to allow the raid bots to return, nor for the related accessory accounts to be unbanned.  Only Filly's primary account, and only a reduction of the ban, not an outright repeal.  As the primary raid caller in recent times, I personally appreciated Filly's efforts greatly, and I connot sit by and watch someone like this be removed from the game entirely without a fight.  The creation and signing of this petition is not an admission of anything other than the will to see Filly returned to the game.
